Huawei, a Chinese brand known for its value offerings, will launch a mid-range quad-core phone known as the Huawei Ascend G630 next week in India, with a price tag of around Rs 8,990.

The Ascend G630 will compete in the mid-range space with the likes of the Moto G, which is priced at Rs 13,000, Canvas Nitro, priced Rs 12,000.

The G630 comes with a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 processor 1 GB of RAM and a 720p 5-inch display. The phone will be among the cheapest 5-inch Android phones with an HD display in India.

Cons – Among factors to watch out for are the low built-in memory (which can be enhanced with an external card). Also note that the Android version is 4.3, Jelly Bean. But still, for sheer value for money, the G630 is unbeatable in India right now.

LG G3 Stylus, price Rs 21,000
