LG L Bello India launch next week, price Rs 15k; Fino to follow

LG Electronics India will launch the LG L Bello, priced around Rs 15,500, in India next week, and will follow it up with the launch of L Fino in coming days.

The LG L Bello and L Fino are mid-range variants that espouse LG’s new aesthetic reflected in the LG G3.

While the Fino is a 4.5-inch model, the LG L Bello has a 5-inch display. In almost all other ways, they are the same.

The Bello has, however, beaten the Fino to the Indian market.

Neither have LTE support, and that may be of concern to some would-be buyers as LG itself offers F70, a cheaper phone, if less stylish, that supports 1800 MHz LTE.

The LG F70 is priced at Rs 13,500 on Amazon, and comes with a 4.5-inch, 480 x 800 pixel display and Android 4.4 and comes with 41 Mbps HSPA and LTE.

The Fino is almost exactly the same, except for the lack of LTE support and having only support for 21 Mbps 3G. The Fino, however, has an 8 MP camera against the 5 MP one found on the L 70.

The dual-SIM LG Bello too is similar to the Fino and comes with 1 GB of RAM andn a 480 x 854 pixel display.

All three phones come with a quad-core processor of 1.2-1.3 GHz, expected to be Snapdragon 400.

The phones will compete with the Moto G, priced at Rs 13,000, and the Micromax Canvas Nitro. However, the Moto G has a 720p HD display.

Still, the phones will increase the options for those looking for a mid-range phone from an international brand.
