Idea customers will get 1.6 GB of 3G usage per month for three months, and free Idea TV for the same duration. They will, however, have to recharge with Rs 259 or Rs 261 to activate the offer.

The phones, called the Ultra + and the Fab, will be available for order on ecommerce website Infibeam.com. They will also be marketed extensively in the areas where Idea has its own 3G, such as Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.

The 5-inch phone, however, comes with a 850*480 pixel display, which is on the lower side. It also has a quad-core processor, and is made by Alcatel.

The 4-inch phone is made by a Taiwanese company called Compal and runs on a dual-core processor. This phone supports upgrading from Android 4.2 at a later date, while the bigger phone at present has no upgrade possibility.
