BSNL will offer 10% extra talk time for users recharging with Rs 1,000 or more and waive off processing charges and others levies for those with Rs 200 to 999.
The offer will be applicable for 90 days from 25.03.2014 in all circles.
BSNL has increasingly found the going tough as private competitors often offer cheaper rates or higher talk value. BSNL coupons typically give only about 85% of their value as talk time, while tariffs start at about 40 paise per minute. In comparison, some operators offer tariffs starting at 30 paise per minute.
The cheapest tariff offered by BSNL is 350 Minutes of local and STD calls for 135 rupees.
