Congress led UDF or United Democratic Front had a slight set back as the early leads were coming out, but bounced back later on.
Even as leads have been announced in nearly all the 140 seats, Congress led UDF seems to be set for a win with a slim majority of 10 seats.

Northern Kerala, from where most early results came, is a stronghold of the Left.
There are a total of 140 seats in the states, out of which 71 seats would give a majority.
Even BJP, which has never won a seat in Kerala, is also leading in 2 places. It is expected to have doubled its voteshare from 5% to 10% this year.
