Google to bring G-days to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai & Delhi

If you have always wanted to know how Google works and how you can use the world’s biggest search engine to your advantage, your chance is here.

Google Inc is bringing its marketing conference, ‘Google g|days’ for the first time to India.

The free conferences are aimed at both businesses and developers, with the first day focused on businesses and the second day targeted at developers, including webmaster and application creators.

On day one, Google will help business users and entrepreneurs to find tools that will help them to “improve and take advantage of their online presence.” There will dedicated ‘tracks’ of discussions on topics likes AdWords, AdSense, YouTube, Google+, and Google Apps.

The second day discussions will focus on Android, Google+, Google Apps and Google APIs.

The event will be modeled on the format of popular technological conferences and ‘unconferences’ and will have sessions specifically for women entrepreneurs.

There will be multiple panel discussions featuring heads of Google’s departments (product leads) and local industry experts.

Such events have so far been held in other regions, including the Middle East, South America and Africa, and are being launched in India for the first time.

There will be events in five Indian cities, including three in south India — Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, and one each in Delhi and Mumbai.

The g|days will be held in Chennai on 19-20 July, Bangalore on 2-3 August, Hyderabad on 21-22, Delhi on 3-4 September and Mumbai on 11-12 of the same month.

Google has launched a special site for those interested in participating in the event, featuring a registration link.
