Taiwanese PC brand Acer has unveiled the cheapest netbook by any major brand in India – the eM350, which will cost just Rs 10,999 including a free MTS data-card.
The current starting price for branded netbooks is around Rs 14,000.
The new netbook will have similar features to most netbooks in the market — at 1 GB RAM and 250 GB hard drive and a 10.1 inch display.
Valid till 31st January 2011, customers will have to shell out an extra Rs 2000 for the data-card, which will be returned to them when they activate the modem.
