Chidmabram’s chopper force-landed in Kashmir

On the second day of his trip to Jammu and Kashmir the Home Minister P Chidambaram’s chopper had to make a force landing at the Srinagar airport this morning.
According to the report the Minister was on his way to Pahalagaon when the pilot discovered some technical problem, besides the inclement weather also made the movement further difficult.

The main reason of the forced landing is still not known.

Chidambaram is on a trip to Kashmir to take a review of the security situation of the border state. He was on his way to an aerial review of the Gurez, ten minutes after taking off from Pahalgam.
