BJP leader in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj has attacked Congress leader Digvijay Singh for making fun of BJP after its leaders dance at Raj Ghat, the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, after a demonstration.
She pointed out that she joined a party of dancers at 2 am in the morning, after all the protests were over, as they were singing a Patriotic song — Yeh Desh hain Veer Jawanon Ka, Albelon Ka, Mastanon Ka.
She alleged that having run of arguments, the Congress party was making an issue out anything that it can find. “The main issue is the crushing of democratic rights, black money.. They want to distract the people using this matter,” she said.
“This is a free country. I don’t need anyone’s permission to dance to a patriotic song. I want to ask Sonia Gandhi whether the a party in which people dance to patriotic songs are called a ‘dancing party’,” she said.
