Dabangg, the Salman Khan starring entertainer directed by newcomer and brother of director Anurag Kashyap, Abhinav Kashyap has won the award for the most popular film of 2010 in the National Film Awards being announced in a few minutes, according to sources.
The lead actors in the film include Arbaaz’s elder brother, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha — who debuted in the film.
The film, set in Bihar, features Arbaaz Khan, Om Puri, Dimple Kapadia, Vinod Khanna, Anupam Kher, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mahie Gill in supporting roles while Sonu Sood plays the main antagonist.
