Premier Explosives, a Hyderabad based commercial explosives manufacturer, said it has won a Rs 27.7 crore order from Bharat Dynamics Limited for the supply of booster grains.
The order will be delivered by end of June next year, said the company.
Booster grains are used as solid fuel for missiles.
Premier had delivered the 1,000th Akash missile booster grain to Bharat Dynamics earlier in July.
Premier Explosives Limited is companies in India manufacturing the entire range of commercial explosives and accessories for the civil requirement.
Premier is also into designing, developing and manufacturing solid propellants for Indian missiles viz. Akash, Astra, etc.
Bharat Dynamics Limited is a Government of India enterprise under the administrative control of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) which was established in the year 1970 to be a manufacturing base for guided weapon systems.
