L&T bags projects of ₹ 1,458 cr including international projects in Saudi Arabia

L&T SaudiLarsen & Toubro announced that it has bagged orders of ₹ 1,458 cr, which includes a project from Saudi Electricity Company for the construction of a 132 kV double circuit transmission line and 132 kV cabling in Saudi Arabia.

Power transmission & distribution business wing of the company has received engineering, procurement and construction projects of ₹ 654 cr which includes the Saudi Arabis project and other national level projects, the compnay said.

The projects in the national level include an urban electrification project involving design and construction of new substations, feeders and upgradation of electricity network of Kanpur city in Uttar Pradesh, said the company.

It also includes a project from Power Grid Corporation of India for the construction of Gas insulated substations in Vadodara, Navasari, Pune, and Gwalior.

The building & factories business has bagged projects worth ₹ 518 crores in the domestic market, the company further added.

The projects received included construction of a new manufacturing plant for a paint manufacturing company in Karnataka and a residential project at Bengaluru for construction of towers.

Smart world & communication business has secured an order worth ₹ 200 crores from Bihar State Electronics Development Corporation (BSEDC) for the implementation of a Wi-Fi Project in the campuses of government universities, constituent colleges and other premier academic institutions in the state of Bihar, the company added.

Additional orders worth ₹ 86 crores have been bagged by other businesses from various ongoing projects.
