Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), one of the largest two wheeler manufacturer, reported two-wheeler sales growth of 28% for the month of August as compared to the same period previous year.
The sales in month of August wasto 6,16,424 units compared with 4,80,537 units, said the company. This is the third time that the company has crossed the six lakh per month mark.
15 new models will be launched by end of this financial year in the National and International markets, said the company.
The launches will include the new versions of Hero Achiever 150cc, Super Splendor and Passion PRO with the Hero patented i3S technology.
Hero’s i3S is a technology that automatically shuts the engine when idling and turns it on when needed with a simple press of the clutch giving more mileage in congested cities.
