Infosys Ltd said its banking software Finacle has been named the leader among nine top banking platforms in ‘The Forrester WaveTM: Customer-Centric Global Banking Platforms, Q3 2016’.
The ranking was done on the basis of 40 criteria focusing on strategy, current offering and market presence. They scored 4.35 out of 5 and are the only ones to score above 4 in the banking platforms category, Infosys Finacle said.
Infosys Finacle received the highest score possible on the criteria of ‘Channels and Touchpoints’, ‘Customer focused product configurator’ and ‘Market Approach’.
Forrester said that many banks still use overly mature and ancient technologies that are neither up to business requirements nor provide a great basis for innovation.
Infosys Finacle is a part of EdgeVerve Systems which is a product subsidiary of Infosys.
