SpiceJet said over 10,000 passengers have used its Family & Friends discount offer launched last week.
Under the offer four or more passengers (up to a max of 9) can travel together and get a discount up to 25% on the base fare. The sale is applicable only on domestic flights.
“We have launched this scheme keeping summer vacations in mind plus to stimulate more family time. This exciting offer has also seen good demand from new travelers ,” said Mr Kaneswaran Avili, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet.
SpiceJet has recently launched “On Time Guarantee” program that shows the airline’s confidence in terms of its on time punctuality. The OTG program assures passengers that the airline will depart on time and in case the flight gets delayed by any reason that are within the control of the airline than flyers will be compensated with vouchers for their next travel.
“We are extremely motivated with the response we getting from corporate travel segment since the launch of our On Time Guarantee program as the demand for our corporate program have shown a positive increase, ” Kaneswaran Avili added.
The base fare on SpiceJet is now consolidated with what used to be charged separately as fuel surcharge, so this savings on the base fare represents a substantial savings for passengers, the airline claimed. Limited seats are available under this offer on each flight, it added.
