Prime Minister,Narendra Modi, has greeted the people on the start of Chingam, the first month of the Malayalam New Year.
“On the start of Chingam, the first month of the Malayalam New Year, my greetings to the Malayali community. May the year bring joy & peace,” tweeted Modi
Narendra Modi have been regular in wishing keralites on there special occasions as a means to cconnect with people who have been traditionally neglectant to BJP.
May’s Kerala poll result was a feather in Modi’s cap as the saffron outfit finally managed to win its first seat in the state legislative assembly this time with party veteran O Rajagopal finding luck, and votes, in Nemom constituency near the capital Trivandrum, and came second in 7 seats.
Loksabha election is scheduled to be in 2019 and Narendra Modi eyes Kerala as fertile land to get couple of seats.
