CEAT and Pirelli said that they had entered an exclusive partnership for distribution of Pirelli’s global range of motorcycle tyres in the Indian market.
This sole partnership will leverage CEAT’s vast distribution and dealer network pan India, CEAT said.
Pirelli is one of the world’s top tyre brands and is known as much for its glamorous calendars and models as for its tyres.
The Italian brand’s car tyres are already available in India through various distributors including online. However, the company is yet to aggressively market its tyres in the country.
“CEAT’s ever-expanding network, Pirelli will offer its entire gamut of motorcycle tyres,” said the RPG Group company.
CEAT, the flagship company of RPG Enterprises, was established in 1958.
It is one of India’s leading tyre manufacturer with a capacity of over 800 tonnes per day and has strong presence in global markets.
CEAT enjoys a major market share in the Truck, Light Truck and 2-wheeler segment.
