JMC Projects reports a fall in Q1 Revenue, PAT up

jmcJMC Projects Limited (JMC), subsidiary of Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, said its revenue for the first quarter fell to Rs 582.8 crore from Rs 602.3 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Profit after tax was up 48% at Rs 6.3 crore as compared to Rs 4.3 crore.

“All the four road BOOT projects of company have commenced commercial operations. First three projects i.e. Rohtak – Bawal, Agra – Aligarh and Nagpur – Wainganga road projects are operating on full length and full toll basis,” the company said.

SK Tripathi, CEO & Dy. Managing Director said: “We are on track of our target to improve margins with consolidation in topline growth, considering current healthy order book and orders in pipeline, we expect to achieve higher topline growth going forward”

Core earnings before interest, depreciation, tax & amortization (EBIDTA) excluding other income for the quarter is Rs 45.4 crore as compared to Rs 34.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year, a growth of 32%.

Profit before tax for the quarter is Rs 9.6 crore as compared to Rs 6.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year, a growth of 51%. JMC has order book of over Rs 5,100 crore including a new order worth over Rs 57 crore received during the quarter.
