SBI to offer rewards to all customers under SBI Rewardz program

State Bank of India has launched an enterprise-wide loyalty programme – State Bank Rewardz through which it will reward its customers for various types of banking transactions with the Bank.

Customers will be enrolled automatically into this programme as soon as they start using at least one of services that offer points. Customers will be incentivized for carrying out transactions across all major channels such as Debit cards, Personal Banking, Alternate Channels like Internet Banking and Mobile Banking, Green channels, Home loans, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Customers will get Reward points on online Saving Bank account opening with proper KYCs & minimum balance; timely Home Loan EMI via standing instruction from SBI account; registration and first financial transaction through Mobile banking; timely repayment of Agri Loans; opening of demat paid accounts and registration and first transaction on Internet banking via State bank Anywhere App.

State Bank is offering its customers wide range of redemption options (in lieu of products) with more than 6000 Merchant Outlets and major online merchants where customers earn and redeem their points instantly.

Important categories are Merchandise, Flight Tickets, Mobile and DTH Recharge, State Bank Gift Cards, Music, and Grocery etc. Some of the major online and offline partner brands include: Lifestyle stores, Dominos, Colour Plus, Club Mahindra, Kalyan Jewellers, PayU Money, GoIbibo, Louis Philippe, Gini & Jony, Lotto etc.

The Bank has also introduced a mobile app namely State Bank Rewardz.

“This app can be easily downloaded through Play Store and customer can register for the programme in simple steps, view the points to his credit and redeem the points at his convenience. This Mobile App is 1st Mobile App in India exclusively for loyalty Programme. For encouraging the customers for using the App, Bank will provide 100 reward points for downloading the App and registering himself for the programme,” SBI said.
