Indian retailing company Shoppers Stop Ltd. said it has opened one ´M.A.C´ door at New Delhi International Airport and one shop-in-shop ´Mothercare´ store at Orion Mall, Brigade Gateway Bengaluru.
“By opening these stores the company has now 40 M.A.C doors and 41 Mothercare stores under its operations,” said the company.
The company said its 51% subsidiary company Hypercity Retail (India) Pvt Ltd has opened a ´Hypercity´store at Orion mall at Brigade Gateway, Bengaluru. And by this it has 20 Hypercity stores in India.
M.A.C. Cosmetics stores are operated under license by Shopper’s stop in India. M.A.C. — originally Makeup-Art Cosmetics — is the first brand under the Estee lauder Group of Companies portfolio to enter the Indian retail market
Shoppers Stop is an Indian retailing company promoted by the K Raheja Corp Group, started in the year 1991 with its first store in Andheri, Mumbai.
The company began operating as a chain of department stores under the name “Shoppers’ Stop” in India. It has services across 35 cities in India.
Shoppers Stop stores provide retails clothing, accessories, home furnishing and decor products, etc.
The company launched its e-store in 2008. The website retails all the products available at Shoppers Stop stores, including apparel, cosmetics and accessories.
The company has opened stores in Amritsar, Bhopal and Aurangabad earlier.
Shoppers Stop launched its mobile application in February 2016.
